Luminous Live Oak

The picturesque grounds of the historic village on Jekyll Island, Georgia inspired this oil on linen panel work. The late afternoon sunlight was especially compelling as it filtered through the Spanish moss draped live oak trees in the area  fronting historic Jekyll Island Club Hotel. Such a peaceful setting!  Companion work to Cascading Light (sold).
