Eternal Light II

On a brisk beach morning on the Atlantic coast when dark blue clouds loomed overhead, a yellow-orange band of light suddenly countered with a vibrant show.  This band seemed to be endless and sharply contrasted with impending cloud cover. An encouraging life metaphor perhaps. When at the coast, I never miss the opportunity to get up early to witness sunrises no matter the weather. Multiple thick layers with palette knife were used to create a textural effect on gallery wrapped canvas. Companion piece to Eternal Light l & lll.
