What is more 'steady and true' than falling water? In this case, a waterfall is a constant example of power and strength. This oil on canvas panel work was inspired by Amicalola Falls in the North Georgia Mountains. At 729 feet, it is the highest waterfall in Georgia, and is also considered to be one of Georgia's Seven Wonders. The name Amicalola comes from the Cherokee word meaning tumbling waters. It is awe-inspiring to consider how many folks have witnessed this amazing wonder. It has definitely withstood the test of time.
